Concrete Polishing Steps
Grinding
Step #1 30 grit diamond metal (Start with 30 grit for exposed aggregate finish)
Step #2 50 grit diamond metal (Start with 50 grit for salt & pepper finish)
Step #2b 100 grit diamond metal (Use after 50 grit diamond metal to skip honing steps (See Salesman))
Honing
Step #3a 50 grit copper transitionals (Copper) If Step #2b is skipped then start with 50 grit transitionals, if 100 grit diamond metal bits used to grind go straight to Step #3
Step #3 100 grit Copper transitionals (Copper)
Step #3b 50 grit copper transitionals (Copper)
Do small test area with 100 grit copper transitionals, if scratches appear, switch to 50 grit copper transitionals and repeat Step #3
Step #4 Add Color if desired based on manufacturer's instructions (could be before or after honing stage, manufacturer's directions should say after which grit to apply color)
Step #5 Clean floor and densify

Step #11 Apply sealer/guard, once dry clean with damp mop and water
Step #12 If resin discs are used instead of polishing pads, a floor buffer is recommended to clean the dust when done
