Key Features and Specifications
Design: These posts are designed for conventional guardrail systems and must be used together with toeboards on all scaffolds to meet local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Materials: Made from galvanized steel or steel tubing with a yellow powder coat finish, Bil-Jax guardrail posts resist rust and surface scratches, enhancing durability and longevity in various job site conditions.
Dimensions: A typical Bil-Jax guardrail post (female type) measures approximately 46 inches in overall height, with a 1.625-inch (1-5/8") outside diameter.
Locking Mechanism: Posts feature multiple staggered flip locks for easy and secure attachment of guardrails. This staggered configuration (with about 1-3/4 inches offset) allows for intersection and secure locking of guard rails.
