Thatcher Design and Operation
Working Width: 38 inches, enabling wide coverage and efficient operation on large yards, golf courses, sports fields, and institutional lawns.
Tines: 100 counter-rotating, replaceable spring tines that comb through the lawn to remove thatch buildup effectively.
Depth: Approximately 1/4-inch working depth to loosen and pull out compaction without damaging grass roots.
Drive Mechanism: Chain-driven tine reel with a 6:1 gear reduction for enhanced torque and smooth operation.
Control: Equipped with a lift handle clutch control that engages or disengages the spring tine reel to allow easy transport or operation.
Hitch: Single pin hitch compatible with most lawn tractors and ATVs for tow-behind functionality.
